SKBU Admission 2025-26: Sidho-Kanho Birsa University has started from July 2025* the registration process for undergraduate and postgraduate admission of the academic year 2025-26. The mode of registration will be online, so Interested candidates can apply from the official website of SKBU. Some popular courses at the SKBMU are B.COM HONS, BA HONS, B.SC, M.A, M.COM. M.Sc. in Chemistry, biotechnical computer science. The admission is based on both entrance and merit. There are certain requirements for admission to SKBU for undergraduate programs. Candidates must have a 12th certificate, and for admission to the PG level, candidates must have a valid bachelor’s degree. The registration fee is INR 350 to INR 1000. The university will only accept the online mode of payment. The last date to submit the SKBU admission form is 20 August 2025*.

About University: Sidho Kanho Birsa University is a state university situated in the Purlia district of West Bengal, India. In April 2010, SKBU was established under the act of the West Bengal legislature. SKBU Admission 2025-26:

SKBU offers various Undergraduate and postgraduate programs, which include B.A, B.Sc., B.Com., in undergraduate and M.A. M.Sc., M.Com., and many more at the Postgraduate level.  The university will soon have an admission portal for various programs. Candidates can apply from the official website of SKBU. The selection process for admission is based on merit and the entrance exam.  SKBMU also offers 20 plus courses in the stream of Humanities, Social Science, accounting, mass communication, media, and business management.

For UG programs 12th certificate is needed from a recognized board. Postgraduate students must have a valid bachelor’s degree from a respectable university. The duration of the UG programs is 3 years (6 semesters), and PG is for 2 years (4 semesters).UG program is around INR 15 to INR 4000, depending on the courses opted by students. Those students who want to pursue PG courses from SKBMU have to pay a fee of around INR 40,000 to INR 80,000. The admission registration fee is approximately INR 350 to INR 1000, depending on the category of candidates. Only the online mode of payment is acceptable by the University. SKBU Admission 2025 For UG

SKBU admissions for UG courses have started from July 2025*. There are multiple  UG courses provided by SKBU, including a B.A. in English, Hindi, Geography, B.SC. in Physics, Maths, Chemistry, Botany, B.COM,  BBA, and many more. The university will soon open the admission portal for the Undergraduate programs, for which students have to visit the official website of SKBMU.  skbu.ac.in. The B.A. program is for 3 years, and the university will charge INR 30,000 as course fees. Candidates must have a 12th certificate from a recognized university to apply to SKBMU. The registration fee for the UG admission is around INR 350 to INR 1000. The application fee is only accepted when all the required documents, including fees, are submitted at the given link by SKBU. 

SKBU Admission 2025-26 For PG

SKBU invites candidates for various Postgraduate programs, including M.A.M.SC.M.COM, MBA, MJMC,  and many more. The university will soon open the admission portal for the academic year 2025-26. SKBU Admission has started. Students can visit the official website of the SKBU and can apply from there for postgraduate programs. Only those students who can apply for the postgraduate programs who have completed 12th grade from a recognized board. Selection for the Postgraduate program is based on the marks students have achieved in their graduation.  The duration for the Postgraduate programs is 2 years, which is 4 semesters. Candidates have to pay the course fee of around INR 40000 to INR 8000,0, depending on the course opted by candidates. The admission registration fee is approximately INR 350- INR 1000. Depending on the category students belong. SKBU only accepts the online mode of payment for the final fee submission. After the final fee submission, candidates are advised to review the final look and download the fee slip. Last date for application submission is 20 August 2025*

SKBU Admission 2025 PhD

The PhD admission process at Sidho Kanho Birsha University (SKBU) for 2025 has begun. The online application form will be available from above mentioned date. To be eligible, students must have a Master’s degree in a relevant field. The minimum percentage for a Master’s degree is 50% marks. The admission process usually includes an entrance exam like the NET by NTA. After qualifying for the exam, students will be invited for an interview.
