Sikkim University Admission 2025-26
Sikkim University will soon open the admission portal for the academic session 2025-26 for various UG, PG Diploma programs. Such as B.A. B. SC. B.ED, M.A., MSC.M.COM. M.ED, M.CA. and more. Only those students who have appeared in the CUET exam can further the admission process at Sikkim University. For PG admission, students must have a 45% score in the CUET entrance exam. Candidates have the choice to register for more than 1 subject according to the CUET entrance exam score marks. Sikkim University has 10% reserved seats for economically weaker sections (EWS). The admission registration fee for general is INR 1000, and for SC/ST/OBC/EWS belonging to students is INR 750. The fee is only accepted through online mode. The university provides various departments in UG programs, including (B.A. B.BED. B.SC). The duration of the UG program is 3 years (6 Semesters). Interested students can visit the official website of Sikkim University. There are certain requirements for UG admission in Sikkim University, such as students must have a 12th certificate from a respectable board, and candidates must pass the CUET Entrance exam with 45%. The fee for the UG program is around INR 5000, depending on the subject opted for by the students. Sikkim University offers a wide range of 33 postgraduate departments, such as (an M.A. in Bhutia, Anthropology, and Geography, and an M.SC. in Botany, Zoology, and Chemistry M.ED ) for the same University is soon going to conduct the PG admission process for the academic year 2025-26. PG admissions are based on the NTA CUET PG entrance exam. Without the CUET exam scores, candidates can not apply for postgraduate admission to Sikkim University. Those students who want to pursue PG courses from Sikkim University can register on the official website of the university. The duration of the graduate program is 2 years (4 semesters). The fee for the PG program varies according to the subject; the minimum PG program fee is INR 5000 to an average of INR 50000. The registration fee is INR 1000 for general and for SC/ST, INR 500-750. Sikkim University PhD Admission 2025:
Sikkim University PhD admissions will start from August 2025* for the session 2025-26. Students having a master’s degree in a relevant field with a 60% minimum required percentage. The admission process involves an entrance exam for NET followed by an interview. Students are required to fill out an online application form available on the university’s website. Students need to provide personal details and academic information. The final selection for the PhD program is based on the entrance exam results and interview performance. It is mandatory for students to pass the entrance exams and PI to secure admission seats. The application form for PhD admission 2025 will be available online. Students can access the PhD form 2025 through the official portal. Last date of PhD admission form 2025 is till 15th July 2025.

There are certain eligibility criteria at Sikkim University for various programs-
- For UG Admission, a 12th certificate from a recognized board and CUET UG entrance exam scores with a minimum of 45% marks conducted by NTA are required.
