Panjab University Admission Criteria 2025-26: 

Students who want to study at PanjabUniversity must ensure to meet all the eligibility criteria. Students can apply for various courses at undergraduate, postgraduate, and other diploma courses. University requires a minimum of 50% marks in the PU-CET entrance test. Below are some requirements of qualification for each level of courses: 

  • Undergraduate: For pursuing a UG degree students should have passed the secondary higher education with a minimum of 45% marks. 
  • Postgraduate: To pursue a PG degree students should have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline. A minimum of 50% marks is needed at the UG level from UGC approved university. 
  • Diploma: These courses can be pursued after completing class 12th or a bachelor’s degree. These are short-term courses that require a minimum of 45% marks in previous exams. 

Panjab University UG Admission 2025-26: 

Punjab University will soon start the admission procedure for session 2025-26. Currently, students will have several options to opt from UG level such as B.A.BEd, BA, BA LLB, BCom LLB, BDS, BCom, BE, BEd, BPEd, BSc, BTTM, LLB, and more. The medium of study at Panjab University is English only. Students must study English subjects as their major in class 12th. Duration of UG courses is 3-4 years with 6-8 semesters. The examination of UG courses is semesters-based. A basic criteria require a class 12th certificate in the relevant stream with 45% marks. 

The online portal of Panjab University will close on 31st May 2025*. The academic fee for the UG courses is INR 8840 approx per semester. It is advised that students provide the correct details on the application form to avoid getting rejected by the university. University has all rights to reject your application form if they find any error in details. 

Panjab University PG Admission 2025-26: 

LLM, MA, MBA, MCA, MCom, MDS,  ME, MHMCT, MLibISc, MPEd, MPharm, MPhil, MSc, and Mtech are some courses offered at Panjab University at the PG level. Admission to these courses will start from 1st May 2025*. Students who want to get admitted to the Panjab University admission area are required to hold a bachelor’s degree in relevant subjects. University has set the eligibility criteria for students who want to apply. The admission process includes passing the PU-CET entrance test and scoring a minimum of 50% marks. 

The last date of Panjab University admission is 15th May 2025*. Students who will register need to pay the fee of INR 2520 for general students and INR 1260 for SC/ST students. Students can complete the program in 2 years minimum. The syllabus is designed by the university and is divided into 4 semesters with industry-relevant topics. Step 1: Students who want to apply at Panjab University need to visit the official website @https://puchd.ac.in/ 

Step 2: Before applying as per the guidelines of the university students must read the prospectus carefully. 

Step 3: After reading the prospectus, Students need to click on the new registration tab. 

Step 4: Students are required to provide Email addresses or mobile numbers
