Mysore University Admission 2025-26: Application for admission to PG, MPhil, Diploma, and PhD courses will be released soon on the official website of Mysore University. Students who want to pursue any course can apply from the official website of Mysore university. Generally, seats in various courses are allotted to students by the Karnataka Examination Authority. Students who want to apply need to complete the eligibility criteria which include class 12th for diploma courses and a bachelor’s degree for PG courses. Students who apply need to apply for the KCET entrance test. Interested students can apply for their desired course before the deadline of 30th June 2025*. The registration fee students need to submit while applying is INR 400 which can be submitted through online debit and credit card. 

About University: The University of Mysore was established on 27th July 1916 in the state of Karnataka. The university has been accredited with an A grade by NAAC and recognized by UGC. Mysore University Admission 2025-26: 

Mysore University admission portal will start soon for session 2025-26. University will provide admission to various students who are eligible for the courses. There are various UG and PG courses offered by Mysore University such as MSW, M.A., M.Sc, M.Tech, MLISc, MCA, M.Com, MBA, M.Ed, BPEd, BBA, and more. Duration of PG, PhD, and other courses is 2-4 years. Students who want to enroll need to meet the eligibility criteria including passing the 12th class and a bachelor’s degree in relevant courses. The minimum marks required for PG, PhD, M.Phil, and Diploma courses are 45% and 50%.  It is mandatory for students to qualify the entrance test conducted by university. For courses like MBA and Mtech students need to appear for the KEA test to secure admission.  The last date to fill out the application for Mysore University admission is 30th June 2025* with the processing fee of INR 700-1000. 

Mysore University PG Admission 2025-26: 

Application to Mysore university will be available for postgraduate courses for 2025-26 session. Interested students can apply for their desired course from the official website of the university. University has a variety of PG courses such as MBA, MTTM, MSc, M.Tech, MSW, MLISc, MCA, M.Com, LLM, and more.  Duration of Mysore University PG courses is 2 years with 4 semesters. The syllabus of PG courses is designed as per the NEP 2020. Admission to PG courses is based on an entrance test held by university. While MBA and Mtech courses admission are based on Karnataka Examination Authority. Students who are appearing need to secure a minimum of 10 marks out of 50 for general students and 8 marks for SC/ST students. 

The last date of admission for PG courses is 30th June 2025*. Students are required to download the prospectus of Mysore University from uni-Mysore.ac.in/. The registration fee for PG courses is 2 years. For more details about admission and subjects go to the official website. 

Mysore University PhD Admission 2025-26: 

Students who want to apply for admission to PhD courses at Mysore University can apply for session 2025-26. To seek registration for PhD courses students need to complete their master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks and an equivalent CGPA. Admission to PhD courses shall be done through the National Entrance Test and followed by a personal interview. On the basis of students’ performance, university publishes the merit list of selected students to secure admission. The duration of PhD Courses at Mysore University is a maximum of 6 years only. To apply students need to submit the application form with all correct details including name, discipline, subjects department, and more. University also requires a scanned copy of the master’s degree. Mysore University admission to PhD courses is 30th June 2025* for session 2025-26. Students are suggested to double-check the application to maintain accuracy. If university finds any error your application might get rejected. Mysore University Procedure for Application Submission 2025-26: 

Students who are applying for their desired courses at Mysore University need to follow the below mentioned procedure for admission 2025-26: 

Step 1: Students are required to visit the online portal of Mysore University to start the procedure. 

Step 2: Students need to check the eligibility criteria before applying.

Step 3: Access the application form by creating your new registration account using your email address and mobile number. 

Step 4: It is advised that students must provide their valid email IDs and numbers for future communication with the university. 

Step 5: After creating your registration account, enter your accurate details like name, address, parents’ information, minimum education, and marks secured. 

Step 6: Attach the Xerox copy of the required documents like class 12th, bachelor’s, and master’s degree. Identity proofs and more. 

Step 7: Pay the application fee of INR 400 through online payment mode. 

Step 8: Check all the entered details as you can make changes before submitting the form. Once the form is submitted there is no re-edit option available. 

Step 9: Take a print of application form for future reference. 

Step 10: University will send you the admit card to appear for the entrance test conducted by the University. 

Note: Students applying for MBA and M.tech need to apply separately for the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).
