Admissions for MTech in various Indian Institute of Technology’s, Indian Institute of Information Technology and National Institute of Technology’s is done mainly on your GATE scores. The basic requirement is that the applicant must have graduated with a minimum of 60% from any recognized engineering disciple. A good GATE score gets you to the counseling process. After qualifying the GATE exam you can participate in the counselling process. COAP (common offer acceptance portal) is used by IITs for admission and CCMT (Centralized counselling for MTech) is used by NITs for admission process.
