MBA Admission 2025-26:
Almost every student who aspires to do MBA, wants to do it from IIM. Indian Institute of management are spread across India and have dominated the top 10 ranking of management by NIRF. IIM admissions are based on several factors. You are shortlisted based on your CAT scores along with your academic scores ( class 10th, class 12th and your graduation scores). After you get shortlisted, you have to participate in a writing ability test(WAT), Analytical writing test (AWT) and personal interview(PI). Then based on all the factors be it CAT scores, academic performance, AWT and personal interview you are selected to pursue MBA from IIMs. Work experience also plays an important role in the selection process.
There is no particular counselling process that allot seats to candidates based on the score; instead candidates have to apply on every college website separately. In other colleges such SP jain institute of research and management, XLRI-Xavier school of management etc. you apply on the official website with your CAT scores and academic qualifications. Then if shortlisted you are called for a writing ability test(WAT), personal interview and Group discussion. In almost every top B-School work experience matters but some programs are also designed for undergraduates.
