About University: Madurai Kamaraj University was established in 1966 in Tamil Nadu state. It has been accredited with an A++ grade by NAAC and holds the 9th ranking at the India level. Madurai Kamaraj University offers regular courses at the UG and PG levels. University has begun its admission process online from July 2025* for sessions 2025-26. The process of Madurai Kamaraj University Admission is online-based. The university conducts admissions every year in two cycles January and July. To apply for Madurai University admission January session, students must visit the official website of the university. It is mandatory for students to go through the eligibility criteria set by the university. The last date of registration is 28 July 2025*. Before submitting the application form, students are expected to pay a form fee of INR 300 for non-entrance courses and INR 800 for entrance courses. The annual fee for the courses is INR 30,000-50,000. 

Madurai Kamaraj University Admission 2025-26 For UG 

Madurai Kamaraj University Admission for undergraduate courses has started from July 2025* for session 2025-26. Some of the popular undergraduate courses such as BA Political Science, BA Journalism and Mass Communication, BBA., B.Com, BCA, BSc Computer Science, BSc Visual Communication, and more. The duration of a complete UG course is 3 years with 6 semesters. 

Eligibility criteria for UG courses include a 10+2 examination certificate in a related field with 45% aggregate marks. Your plus two certificate must be from CBSE or any other board. Students can submit their application forms till the last date of 30th August 2025* from the official website @mkuniversity.ac.in. The registration fee for the application form is INR 300. Madurai Kamaraj University Admission 2025-26 For PG 

Madurai Kamaraj University Admission for postgraduate courses is initiated for the session 2025-26. Madurai Kamaraj University offers various PG courses like MSc Biochemistry, MBA, MCA, MA English, MPEd, MSc Mathematical Economics, MBA Tourism and Hotel Management, M.Com, M.Lib.I.Sc, and more. Eligibility criteria for PG admission require a UG degree with secured 50% marks. Your bachelor’s degree must be from a UGC-recognized university. 

The minimum duration of PG courses is 2 years, which is separated into 4 semesters. Application forms for PG courses must be submitted by 30th August 2025*. Madurai Kamaraj University Admission 2025 For PhD

Madhura Kamraj University provides PhD admission in various fields. Admission for the 2025-26 session at the university has started in August 2025*. Students who want to apply for the PhD degree must complete a degree in the same field. Admission to PhD courses at Madurai Kamaraj University is based on the common entrance test 2025-26. The entrance test will be conducted at the campus of the university. The university will issue the notification for PhD admission in 2025. The entrance examination for CET is based on the postgraduate syllabus.
