KSOU Admission 2025-26 Procedure:
Karnataka State Open University offers 420+ courses at undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD levels. The admission procedure of university will be conducted twice a year in January and July. University has started the admission portal for January cycle specifically for UG and PG courses. Interested students should apply for their preferred course at ksou admission last date 31st March 2025*. KSOU 2025 UG Admission:
Karnataka open state university admission has open for January 2025 cycle. Students can choose their desired courses from various UG academic programs offered by University such as BA, B.Com, B.Ed, B.Lib.I.Sc, B.S.W, BCA, BBA, and more. Duration of these courses is 3 years minimum with 6 semesters. Interested students can apply for their desired courses and apply before the last date set by KSOU is 31st March 2025* from official website. The enrollment fee of UG course is a minimum of INR 800, depending on the course. Admissions are provided to students who are eligible and meet all the criteria set by university. Students must have a minimum qualification of class 12th in the relevant field with 45% marks. Tuition fee for the programs ranges between INR 10,000 to INR 24500.
KSOU 2025 PG Admission:
Courses offered under the PG level at KSOU include MA Kannada, MA-Sanskrit, M.Lib.I.Sc, M.Com, MBA, MSc Computer Science, MSc Biotechnology, MSc Earth Science, and more. The average fee structure of PG courses is INR 20,000 – INR 31,700 per year.
KSOU 2025-26 PhD Admission:
PhD degree of Karnataka Open State University is offered in regular mode as per the government guidelines. The program is provided to students who meet the minimum standards and procedures. Presently KSOU offers PhD degrees in various disciplines such as Kannada, Sociology, Public Administration, Food and Nutrition, Ancient History and Archeology, Journalism and Mass Communication, and more. Admission to PhD courses at KSOU University is expected to start on 1st April 2025*. Students who want to register must have completed their master’s degree in a relevant specialization. The admission procedure includes passing the NET exam before applying for admission followed by a personal interview by university. Duration of PhD courses is 3-5 years. Fee structure of PhD courses at KSOU ranges between INR 50,000 to INR 80,000 per annum.
KSOU B.Ed Entrance Exam 2025:
The online registration process for ODL B.Ed admission 2025 will start soon for sessions 2025-26. There are a total of 500 seats available at the university for the teacher program. KSOU admission is based on the entrance exam KSOU BEd Common Entrance Exam 2025. The registration process for B.Ed admission will start in April 2025*. Students having relevant bachelor’s degrees from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks. KSOU B.Ed registration fee is INR 800. Last date to apply for KSOU B.Ed admission is 30th April 2025*. Students have to qualify for the entrance exam conducted by the university to secure admission. KSOU B.Ed entrance exam date will be published on its official portal. Students who will secure above 50% marks in entrnace exam will get selected for admission. KSOU will prepare the merit list of selected students and publish it on the official portal. Selected students will be invited for the document verification and fee submission.
