For the upcoming session of 2025-26, GU will initiate its admission procedure in July 2025*. Deadline for the entrance-based GU admission is expected to be on 31 August 2025*. For multiple master’s degree courses, Gauhati University conducts an entrance exam, of PGET. Similarly, candidates who want to enroll in a BEd program will have to get a qualifying score in the GU BEDCET (Gauhati University BEd Common Entrance Test).
