For UG Admissions at Central University of Himachal Pradesh has begun for the upcoming academic session of 2025-26. CUHP will be one of the participating institutions of CUET PG 2025; hence, students should ensure that they appear and qualify in the mentioned entrance exam so that they can secure a seat in the available seats of Postgraduate programs.
A few of the CUHP offering master’s degree courses include MBA in Travel & Tourism, MSW, MA in English, MCom, MA in Yoga, MLISc, MSc in Bioinformatics, MCA, and others. To appear in the category of eligible candidates for these PG courses, students will need to complete their bachelor’s degree course in a relevant field and specialization.
CUHP PhD Admission 2025
Central University of Himachal Pradesh will invite the applicants to register for PhD programs from the month of July 2025*. Applicants who want to pursue any PhD programs can apply till the deadline of 29 July 2025* for the year of 2025. All the doctoral programs offered at Central University of Himachal Pradesh require the applicants to have a master’s degree with a minimum of 55%. CUHP Admission for PhD courses is completed in two stages- entrance exams and interview sessions. Hence, concerned students will have to be present in the entrance exam conducted by the concerned departments of the university.
However, applicants who have already qualified in any other related entrance tests like SLET, UGC NET, CSIR NET, GATE, and others can directly appear in the interview round and secure admission to any doctoral course. - Postgraduate: For PG courses Bachelor’s degree is required by the university. The degree must be approved by the UGC. Students have passed the CUET-PG entrance examination to secure admission to PG-level courses.
- PhD: students having 3 3-year bachelor’s degree and 2 2-year master’s degree can apply for PhD courses in the same or related field. The minimum marks secured by students at the PG level are 60% or above. It is important to pass the entrance exam, NET, for PhD courses.
