BTech Admission 2025-26:

BTech admissions for the session 2025-26 is going on in various colleges. Many universities have their own entrance examination and consider their scorecards for admission. All the IIT’s, NIT’s and IIITs consider your All india rank (AIR) for admission. VIT, Vellore has its own entrance examination i.e. VITEEE. MHT CET is the state common entrance test for the state of Maharashtra. Birla institute of technology has its own entrance exam BITSAT. These universities do not consider JEE main scores. Make sure you check the desired college website for particular application dates and criteria.

BTech Eligibility Criteria:

  • Minimum qualification: A student must have completed their 10+2 from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as core subjects. You can also have biology as your core subject if you want to pursue biotechnology.
  • Minimum percentage: They should have a minimum of 50% in their class 12th. This percentage can vary from college to college, so make sure you cross check before applying to the specific university.

Decide what university you want to get into, if it’s a government university you have to give JEE and wait for the scores and then you can go for counseling. If its a private university you can follow the steps below:

Step 1: Go to the desired university website and click on apply now.

Step 2: Fill in the required information and submit. 

Step 3: This will help you create a student login id and password.

Step 4: You can select your desired department and course .

Step 5: Fill in the desired information and put scanned copies of the documents required. You can also apply for Scholarships.
