BArch syllabus:
BArch is a 5 year undergraduate course where each year is divided into 2 semesters i.e. a spring and an autumn semester. You study subjects like architectural graphics, architectural design, computer systems and programming, structures, architecture, mathematics and urban design and planning etc. From third year onwards you can choose from departmental electives based on your choice and interest.

After successfully completing the 5 year BArch course, you have various career choices to choose from. You can study further, can choose from various architectural practices or can practice Interior designing. If you choose to study further you can do masters i.e. MArch where you can specialize in a particular architectural field such as Digital architecture, environmental architecture and advanced architectural design etc. It is a 2 year course. You can become an architect, architectural assistant or an architectural designer. You can also choose to become an architectural engineer or a landscape architect. You can also choose to design the interior of a building. BArch Admission Process 2025-26:
The admission process is below:
STEP 1: Check for eligibility criteria such as minimum percentage, entrance exam etc. on your desired college website
STEP 2: Apply for the entrance exam and appear in it. Wait for the results.
STEP 3: After the results are out colleges give their merit list and cut off.
STEP 4: Candidates can apply for the counselling process by filling their preferred college and their rank.
STEP 5: You need to submit the required documents such as 10th and 12th marksheet, Copy of valid NATA scores, Copy of age certificate.
STEP 6: If you match the eligibility criteria of the college after document verification, NATA scores etc. you can proceed with the admission procedure.
